Editorial Manager

This position is only valid for a student who is able to work 20 hours per week. The editorial manager oversees all the aspects of content for publication. The editorial manager is responsible for guiding and directing writers, editors, and photo-/videographers, to assemble the stories and other content. The editorial manager takes part at weekly meetings to decide what is to be posted and when.


– Develop, manage, and execute the editorial strategies within all editorial and social media content
– Manage the overall editorial and social media production schedule
– Actively research the editorial stories through internal and external sources
– Supervise freelance authors, editors and contributors and ensure that the allocated work is completed within the given time
– Recruit new editors and authors

This internship is only valid for a student who wants to complete a mandatory internship by their school or university or for someone who wants to volunteer and learn for a max. of 3 months.

What you´ll learn:

– Learn how to edit blogposts in WordPress and HTML on a variety of topics for MOCHNI
– Learn what is important to look at when researching social trends and ethical brands
– Assist with social media management and postings
– Assist with graphics and photo edits
– Learn how to assist with e-mail correspondence and blogger relations
– Help with photo shooting productions and bookings
– Assist during shootings in our own photo studio
– Assist on travels to trade fairs

What you bring:

– Enrolled in college majoring in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, Fashion, or a related field
– Fluent in English
– Passion for content creation and digital/social media
– Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude
– Effective project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
– Very strong attention to detail
– Strong interest in Eco Fair Fashion and Clean Beauty
– Experiences with WordPress, In design, Photoshop is a plus

Beginning: April 2018
Duration: 3 months with option to work as 20 hours working student (content manager) afterwards
