Brand Story

CLED is an eco-conscious upcycled jewelry brand with a mission to use waste resourcefully and repurpose them into new objects. Each piece is handmade in our studio in Los Angeles and free from plastics, mined gemstones, and animal materials. Discarded glass bottles are obtained from local restaurants and cosmetic brands. We believe that unexpected materials can be treasures to show upcycled beauty. A portion of proceeds is donated to rotating charities.

TRANSPARENCY STATEMENTS

STATEMENT
We handmake our pieces in our studio in Los Angeles, from glasswork to metalsmithing. Casted metal pieces are made from family-owned manufacturers in Los Angeles.

STATEMENT
We currently do not have any employees but once we expand, we plan to hire people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

STATEMENT
We obtain recycled glass bottles from local restaurants and cosmetic brands. Glass bottles are then upcycled into CLED Eco Gems and used to make one of our jewelry pieces. Rather than utilizing or purchasing new glass, we only use recycled glass bottles.

STATEMENT
We handmake all our pieces in our studio in Los Angeles, from the glass to metalsmithing. Casted metals are produced in Los Angeles.

STATEMENT
Our jewelry is handmade and made-to-order. From glasswork to metalsmithing, it is all done by hand.

STATEMENT
We utilize recycled glass to make our CLED Eco Gems. Instead of using new materials, we use recycled materials to reduce our carbon footprint. 70% of the metals used in our jewelry are recycled metal. Our production is made-to-order to reduce overstock.

STATEMENT
We do not use any animal materials in our products, including glue. We were founded to be a vegan jewelry brand.

STATEMENT
We donate a portion of our proceeds to rotating organizations. Various organizations are selected twice a year to support causes we believe in.
