1 Day in Hamburg: A Tour With Our New unu Electric Scooter

In partnership with unu.

Our sponsor unu equipped us with our very own 3000 W E-Scooter which gives us a maximum of flexibility. We love it to discover our city in an eco-friendly way whenever and wherever we want. Follow our journey to see how we enjoyed our first day with our new unu in Hamburg. Book your free unu ride today and win 1 of 40 MOCHNI goodie bags here.

9 AM, COFFEE AT TORNQVIST

Our first stop with our new unu was Tōrnqvist, a Scandinavian café Neuer Pferdemarkt 12, 20359 Hamburg, Germany. They have delicious seasonal coffee. The coffee to go cups are eco-friendly as the lids are made from sugarcane. We love the minimalistic interior. At weekends they have also avocado toast and for breakfast, we had a Swedish cinnamon bun.

12:30 AM, GROCERY SHOPPING AT ISEMARKT

We love it to stroll through the Isemarkt during our lunch break. It is just a 5-minute unu electric ride away from our office: Isestraße 1-73, 20144 Hamburg. The market takes place 2 times a week, on Tuesday and Friday. We popped by on a Tuesday to get some flowers for our office and also some lemon and seasonal fruit (to boost our immune system with some vitamin C).

01:00 PM, SAYING HI TO MAREEN AT MYMARINI STORE

We made a quick stop at the new MYMARINI store which is close to the market. We met Mareen, the founder of Mymarini at her new store, Eppendorfer Weg 86, 20259 Hamburg, which just opened a few days ago. Mymarini creates comfortable surf-and swimwear which is beautiful and also reversible. We love the eco-friendly pieces that are made from Econyl. And she loves our new 100% electric Premium unu. 😉

01:15 PM, PICKING UP LUNCH AT WAS WIR WIRKLICH LIEBEN

On our way back from Mymarini to the office, we passed Was wir wirklich lieben Hegestraße 28, 20251 Hamburg. We made a stop to get a healthy lunch to go: a green smoothie and a salad bowl. They use recycled plastic cups and straws. Cup and bag are super easy to transport with our unu as you can see on the pictures below.

07:00 PM, AFTER WORK FISCHBRÖTCHEN AT PORT OF HAMBURG

Nothing is better for after work than having a chill at a cool spot. We rode all the way down to the harbor to eat a typical Hamburg snack for dinner: Fischbrötchen. It is basically fish in bread with some salad. You can get it everywhere near the harbor. It is so much fun to ride at the harbor side with unu.

9:00 PM, RIDING HOME

We think the best feeling during a pinky sunset is to be outside and to enjoy a ride with our new unu. Thank you unu to make this possible and that we are now able to discover our beautiful city in a new and sustainable way. Share your unu ride with us using the hashtag #MOCHNIxUNU.
